Default Can they just pop up in one day?

Ok, with it being summer, and prime tick season I look my dog over every night for ticks and little critters so that we don't get them in the house and of course so the dog doesn't have to deal with them. I say all this because I looked him over last night, and today when I got home there seems to be a "hot spot" on his left hind leg (the front of the back leg) above the knee portion. I say "hot spot" in " " marks because I'm not sure if that's what it is or not... it is just a bald spot wit no hair and it seems to have a clear liquid coming from it like when you get road rash and its not bleeding anymore... He seems to be walking with a stiff leg (same one) but I'm not quite sure... It could be me over acting because I'm a little worried, or it could be him not wanting to bend the leg because its uncomfortable. So can they pop up in less than 24 hours? Its obvious enough that I noticed it first thing... its about the size of a quarter.

Will his hair ever grow back there?

Default yes

it can happen overnight.i use udder balm on any wound on the outside of a dog and spaicaly on hot spots.the dog scratches a sore just like people for same reasons.the udder balm will keep it soft and help it heal,if it aint bad once a day is good....massage it in good. if they scatch a dime size hot spot can change overnight to a basketball.the udder balm will grow the hair back qiucker than anything and it cost,s less than anything else there is.look at ingrediant,s when you find it and look at a high dollar woman,s skin lotion.
